Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I’m Elaine, and as my family and friends will testify I approach most things in life with zest! As well as practising as an integrative care practitioner which includes homeopathy, I also managed our family’s dairy farm. In the last few years I have brought to life the eco, holistic, holiday, retreat Dundream, which most people fall in love with too. Having grown up in the south west coast of Scotland, this is a region very close to my heart and I wanted to share this beautiful area with others, and Dundream has allowed me to do just that. Loves Life is a means of sharing my loves and interest, which I hope you’ll enjoy and it may even persuade you to try some of one my own passions, whether this exploring the great outdoors, yoga, photography or cooking simple wholesome food. Whatever catches your eye; hopefully this space will inspire you to love life and live each day as fully as possible, trying new things and challenging yourself to new heights. What are my first loves?
1. Without a doubt my family
 2. The sea; nothing beats an early (and refreshing) dip in the Irish Sea!
 3. Relaxing, by taking to my bike to explore unspoiled Dumfries & Galloway on two wheels

The pink sky blends with the heather coloured Glenapp hills. The dark grey clouds reflect the storm brewing in the Irish sea. A winters delight at Lady…

In her book “Healing Spaces” she explores the neurobiology of the senses and that different environments have the capacity to trigger or reduce stress. She reveals how…

2014 in review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog. Here’s an excerpt: A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 900 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 15 trips to carry that many people. Click here to see the complete report.
